Peter teaches Social Inquiry at UTS.
After graduating in Philosophy at Sydney University, Peter completed a PhD at Cambridge and taught at British and American universities in Europe for many years, progressively focussing his research in ethics on real-life topics related to access to education and the arts, to poverty, inequality, discrimination, war, and the impact of 'big business' on society and the environment. He was active throughout the 1980s in facilitating academic and cultural exchanges between the West and Eastern European nations.
Returning to Australia ten years ago, Peter has been involved in teaching in the fields of professional ethics and social responsibility at various institutions in and around Sydney.
Earlier this year he completed a research project investigating the effectiveness and status of corporate social responsibility programs in Britain and in several European countries.
